The Programme has a duration of two years and requires the acquisition of 120 ECTS credits, distributed as follows:

• 84 ECTS earned through the compulsory courses listed below (54 ECTS in the first year; 30 ECTS in the second year);
• 12 ECTS earned by selecting alternative courses not previously taken within the Programme or courses offered by other Degree Programmes of the School of Law. Students may also select courses from other Degree Programmes or training programmes of the University of Florence or of other universities; in such cases, the choice must be authorised by the President of the Degree Programme after verifying its consistency with the Programme’s educational objectives;
• 6 ECTS earned through participation in legal clinics;
• 18 ECTS earned through the Final Examination.

All courses are taught on a semester basis, with the exception of 15-ECTS courses, which are delivered across two semesters.
